こんにちは！私の名前はエリスです。
日本に住んで10年になります。公立の小学校や中学校でALT（外国語指導助手）として9年間働いてきました。
同時に、英会話スクールでもパートタイム講師として同じく9年間教えてきました。
これまでの経験を通して、さまざまな教育環境で働く機会を得てきたので、どんな教室の状況にも柔軟に対応できるようになりました。
自由な時間には、国内外を旅行したり、写真を撮ったり、動画編集をしたり、友達と山登りやキャンプなどのアウトドア活動を楽しんでいます。隠れた素敵な場所を見つけては、SNSでその冒険をシェアするのが大好きです。
日本で英語を教えることで、日本文化に深く触れ、この国への理解を深めることができました。これからは、私自身の文化や、他の国々の文化を日本の子どもたちに伝えることで貢献していきたいと思っています。
子どもたちと触れ合うことが本当に楽しく、彼らの英語学習の旅の一部になれていることに大きなやりがいを感じています。

Hello! My name is Elise.
I’ve been living in Japan for ten years and working as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) in public elementary and junior high schools for the past nine years. Alongside my main job, I have also been teaching part-time at private English conversation schools (Eikaiwa) for the same amount of time.
These experiences have allowed me to work in a variety of teaching environments, and I’ve become very adaptable to different classroom settings.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling both locally and internationally, taking photos, editing videos, and doing outdoor activities like mountain hiking and camping with friends. I love discovering hidden gems and sharing my adventures on social media.
Teaching English in Japan has allowed me to deeply immerse myself in Japanese culture and gain a greater understanding of the country. I hope to give back by sharing my own culture—and the cultures of other countries—with Japanese children.
I truly enjoy interacting with children and feel fulfilled knowing I play a part in their English learning journey.
