PUP Talk – 2

Good day Everyone!

How are you doing? 🙂 I’m back with another set of PUP (Parents Useful Phrases) for you.

Do you still remember what we had last time? We discussed two simple English greetings. Today, let’s have easy questions that you can ask your kids.

“How are you today?”

  • Every time we begin our lesson, we always ask the students how they feel. So if your son or daughter is learning with us, most likely they will be able to answer you when you ask them this question. If they can’t understand, try asking a follow up question like “Are you happy?” or “Are you hungry?”. Then, they will have a clue and answer back.

“What did you do / today?”

  • When I was a kid, I always feel happy when my mom or dad ask me this question especially if I did something at school. Asking this question might be a bit challenging for your kid but if they get used to hearing it, It will be easier for them to remember. If they can’t answer the first time, try changing some word/s into Japanese. That way they will get a hint. Just remind them to also try to answer in English.

That’s it for today. I hope you learned something and feel free to try and use these questions.

Good luck and Cheers!
