CLASS CHRISTMAS PARTY!
昨年は、守山吉根校が
クリスマスパーティで
ケーキのデコレーションでした。
今回は、長久手校の番です！
さて、まずは英語のフレーズ練習から。
このように説明をし、フレーズ練習をしました。
Last year in our Kikko Moriyama School, the students made their own decorations for their Christmas cake.
Now, it is Kikko Nagakute’s students turn to try it out. 
To start off, I wrote some useful sentences on the board that students can use.

Let’s wash our hands.
手を洗いましょう。
Can I have the whip cream please? (Sure! Here you are.)
ホイップクリームをください （はい、どうぞ）
Can you pass me the sprinkles please?
スプリンクルを取ってくれる？
This / That looks delicious!
美味しそう！
It’s yummy! (for small kids)
美味しい！
What drink do you want? (Can I have orange juice please?)
何が飲みたい？（オレンジジュースが欲しいな）
Can I bring this home?
お家に持って帰っていい？
Here are the things we used:
sponge cake
sprinkles, chocolates and some chips
whip cream
And here are some of the kids’ masterpiece! 
みんなのスプリンクルケーキ、プロ並みーー！
素晴らしい出来栄えじゃないですか？
見ているだけで、お腹がすいてきます。
ケーキ作りって、一番、興奮しますね。

Aren’t they great? Just looking at it makes me hungry. 
Making a cake is a first time for most of the kids so they really enjoyed and did their best.
Our school do these activities not just to eat and have fun but to give students a first hand experience on how they can use English to create things like cakes, cards, etc.
This is also like a gift for them from us for doing their best this year!
