Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall
Hello everyone, how are you doing? Summer has officially ended and it’s already fall! Last summer, we did Mr. Sun for our arts and crafts and for this season, we made a new craft just in time for the most awaited event during fall — Halloween!

Halloween craft
We made a jack-o-lantern! Before we did this with our students, we asked them to identify the parts of the face namely; eyes, nose and mouth. We also practiced identifying the colors and shapes used in making their jack-o-lantern by saying phrases like “it’s an orange triangle”, “it’s a yellow triangle” and “can I have blue/pink/yellow/orange/green colored paper please”. At the end of this activity, the students looked happy and pleased with their jack-o-lanterns and they were really proud to show it off!
